Hello Légacie loves,

It's Chloe here, the founder of Légacie London. Sitting down and writing this feels so soul-charging and like the best way to connect not only with myself, but with all of you in a way that feels so innately authentic to me.

I’ve always believed that the written word is one of the most powerful ways to express oneself and connect with others. Before Légacie London, before The Forever Skirt, there was a teenage girl who would spend hours after school pouring her heart into her little fashion blog - "Fashion Is My Forte". That safe space became my own little corner of the internet, a place to dream, to imagine and to share my love of clothes with anyone who might stumble across my words.

So when it came to creating and launching Légacie London, it only felt natural to incorporate a blog into the journey. At the heart of this brand lies meaning and emotion and fashion for me is never just fabric. It’s memory, heritage and storytelling. It’s what ties us to our past and what we pass forward into the future, and writing feels like the perfect way to celebrate that.

This blog is designed to inspire and ignite conversation but also to feel like a safe space for the Légacie London community. A place where we can talk about fashion, yes, but also about what it represents, how it makes us feel and the sentiment woven into every piece and every stitch (quite literally!). I want it to be a diary, a love letter, a community hub and a reminder that clothes are so much more than what they appear to be.

I quite simply can't express how much it truly means - whether it's just perusing through the site, engaging with social content, reading this very blog or making a purchase, I see you and I am so wildly grateful for you.
